Google is penalizing sites with less content and according to some, adding more articles makes your site content rich. Can I add article on any theme on my health related site in order to just make google think that my site is content rich.

  • Instead of trying to make Google think your site is content rich you should actually just add articles/content that your visitors will find helpful. Build your site with quality content for the surfer, worry less about trying to make Google think anything.
  • What Google want from webmasters is design your site for human visitors and provide valuable information they are looking for or expecting from your site. This is how you can improve the quality of your site both for your visitors and crawlers. Any unrelated contents are not going to help much in long run.

    • Content is extremely important because, no matter how you monetize your site, you're dealing with real people. These real people are the ones that buy products and click links.

      You need high quality, readable, entertaining content to keep these real people coming to your site.

      I'm always surprised by how many website owners neglect the need for valuable content but it really is in the top 3 most important elements of a website.
  • Taking a long view, you had better not try to play these tricks. Google is not foolish.
