I just noticed that all of a sudden my sites disappeared off Google for keywords.. has anyone else noticed this today?

It is still the 15th here. And no not that I've heard of. Looks like you got a penalty.

Well, I don't know if there was an update, but 2 of my websites jumped back in the serps with a vengeance that were slapped after Penguin!

Same here. I just had 2 sites jump back up that had been buried. I thought it may have been some backlinks taking effect. Maybe there was an update?

  Don't we all! i'd add google webmaster tools to your sites and then get checking your sites back links, google may have seen some spammy type links pointing to your sites. Which has probably made them disappear.

Might be possible you are hurt by Google Panda and Penguin. Google updated their search result around 3.1%. Its mean result might effected by these algorithm.

if you have been doing some backlinking, and your are focusing heavy on anchors, drop some backlinks with 'click here', and just your URL.

I have a test site I spammed the hell out of with just one keyword (medium competition). It vanished out the serps.

Did what I just told you, and 2 days later its position 1 for that keyword. It's all about balancing your keywords and making everything look as natural as possible.

well i did add google webmaster tools back to my website to check for any messages and i don't have anything.. weird??
Coincidently I made some minor changes to my site last night but only minor cosmetic changes. Surely that wasn't enough to get it de-ranked.

I noticed though that someone from Google visited the site around the time.. so i'm thinking it was manually reviewed b someone? My site is perfectly legit, not spammy, informative. So i fail to understand what could be wrong with it.

  My site came back as well, but then it turned out it was just personalized results.
  
  Pretty odd btw cause I haven't visited my site for weeks, and somehow the personalized results were gone for weeks as well, so I checked and was like WHAT?? and then I doublechecked and obvious it was nowhere to be seen

  I had a site re-appear today that has been dead since the end of March. Had to do some quick updates on the deals that are on it because it's took over £275 in commisions today already. Hopefully it will make up for my 2 money sites I lost last month but the way Google plays at the moment I will not get my hopes up too much just yet.

thats because we all went the other way on April 24th...

If you have not done any blackhat seo, or spammed your site with junk backlinks...then just be patient...

Watch over optimizing your onpage seo...make it flow and look natural...

Post a few new high quality articles and get a few high quality backlinks in the mean time...

I had two websites drop with Penguin. One came back today stronger than before the other faded into oblivion. Thats ok though I am cool with one vouncing back.

  I made absolutely no changes at all. I wrote the site off to being colateral damage. To be honest I haven't even looked at the site since then.

  Rumor is that's Pengin 1.1, no confirmation. Saying it went through on the 14th into the 15th.
  
  No changes for me. Some sites bounced back, but they're gone again. All this momentary bouncing back is killing me.

02:45 GMT Yesterday morning (Wednesday) there was a SERP jump for one of my sites which had been nowhere for the last month or so (from around the 10th page plus, back onto the first page for a few targeted keywords)
