Good Backlinking strategy?

Hey WF!

Just wanted to know if your thoughts on the following model:

Social Bookmarks -> Squidoo Lens -> Money Site <- Social Bookmarks

Do you think this is aggressive Backlinking? Am I likely to be punished by Google?

    SeNuke Blast -> Social Bookmarks -> Squidoo Lens -> Money Site
  • No sir, I have a MUCH more aggressive link strategy and I don't get penalized

    Yours is actually sort of weak and don't see it working very quickly

    I would add a lot more

    High PR links, Press releases, Wikis, Blog comments towards other backlinks so on

  • Its a nice method for web2.0 sites.But you should make your articles unique and related to your niche.Only social bookmark link looks like spam.So you should build links in other methods as mentioned in previous posts.

    I'm just testing the waters with different strategies post Panda.

    I think Social Bookmarks pointing to Squidoo should be enough Backlinking for the products I'm targeting as competition is very low.
  • I guess this answers my question 'if social bookmarking is hurting my primary layer backlinks' cause I see here people are social bookmarking to there primary site, is that okay and not looked at negatively by google? I am a newer, How long does it take for article and blog backlinks that I social bookmarked to show up in all the 'backlink checker' tools? It has been two months now and none of mine are showing up still.
