Google really f****d up the search...

Today I was looking for a code that I use everyday when doing my programming stuff. Now the blog is usually on the first page with these stuff that I and most people use.

So today I was looking for the same code but in-vain. I have gone through all the sites in the first page, second and the third page. I found the site with the right content on the fourth page at the last spot. All the sites on top 3 pages are just absolute crap. No information at all.

this is terrible.

Is anybody having the same experience?

      I think they're gradually fixing it based on the feedback they receive.

    My sub-domain site has always been in the first page of Google for about 6 months. I always put good quality contents in it. However, after the update, it dropped from being number 3 to 700+. I always update that site everyday with fresh interesting contents.

    After the update, I've seen some websites rising from the dead with full of crappy contents. They are out-dated and full of stuffed keywords. Despite of that, I have no choice but to do a reverse SEO to check what's good to do to my site.

    Same here. I lost ranking for website review articles. Guess what's back in place of my articles? The usual scraper sites (like those sites that show domain stats for XXX where XXX is every single website on the Internet).

    Google is showing all the crap that exists for any topic. Their business is at risk if it is not fixed. People will avoid using Google if it goes on like this for a year or two.

    But again the problem is that we don't have any serious competitor to google search.

    Yeah, same here. I'm trying to rank my site for a competitive keywords, but it looks like google only wants empty or 2 page sites on the first page ...

    Google is not good now, use bing instead. It is much better.
