Big keywords unchanged, major long tail drop = penguinized?

We have 5 category pages with 5 10 huge keywords all ranking at or better then april 24th yet the product pages and sub category pages on our ecommerce store have dropped as much as 15-20 positions each in the thousands.
Anyone else experience something like this with Penguin? Not sure if its our internal on page SEO, because if it was some kind of link penalty i would think it would affect the main keywords as well.
