Marketing To Potential University Students

Hi All,

The marketing company I work for are working on a huge project and we've built a social network that students will be able to use as part of their university and accommodation.

To cut to the point I'd just like some suggestions of how you would get potential university students (UK) to fill in an online form for the chance to win free university accommodation and a scholarship worth over £40,000.

We are currently using Twitter and Facebook to target this audience but would just like further ideas.

    Will you really give a full ride to someone or is this black hat?

    If this was real (I've applied for scholarships)

    the application page SHOULD be longer to make it more real. You should have boxes where you can fill in extracurricular activites, resume profiles, etc.

      It is a completely genuine competition and someone will be chosen for the prize.
      This is the problem with these types of competitions; people don't fill them in because they do not believe what they see (which I don't always blame them for).

    Press releases and social media for this campaign are your best bet. I think you should also change your form before your start marketing it.
