Doesn't This Count as Penguin = Good?

I optimized my homepage for 3 main keywords.
Let's say my site was about bikes.
One of the keywords was "blue bikes".
I was ranking at the first page for "blue bikes"...before and after Penguin.
However, I also have another page separately for "blue bikes".
---www,mysite,com/blue-bikes
The homepage is like an introduction to the content with 3000 words.
After penguin, my homepage has disappeared from the first page when you search for "blue bikes".
Instead, my page ---www,mysite,com/blue-bikes has replaced it.
I think that's pretty cool that the new algorithm can do that. It's better result for search, I guess, since it's more targeted to the exact search.
