Read this today at SEOMOZ. Scary. I have to agree with most. Nothing I have been doing is working anymore. Considering hanging it up. Not worth the BS anymore.

I can't post the link but go to the blog section of seomoz dot com

Comments??

There has been no discussion but I think they are just talking about spamming these link sources. Most are still applicable sources of backlinks but you need to do it the proper way. Guess the title is just a way to catch peoples attention. Should be called, "Penguins Eat Spam, Quit Hammering Websites"

If it's too easy (or cheap) to score that link then you probably shouldn't be doing it.

After reading (or more like browsing) that article, I'm inclined to agree with one of the comments made there:

"So in short dont do any link building. Simply build content and wait for others to find it."

    ROTFLMAO!

Can't you just avoid spam, period?

    Done and done.

Or is #18-20 spam that works? Or maybe
    #20-30 is good spam?

    Can't wait for the
"17 types of spam you should try!"

SEOmoz has their own agenda people. No need
to spam a link. Oh wait! That's spam #21.
