Can someone please explain the difference between Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools?

Is one more helpful than the other?

Does Google like you better if you have these programs?

    I am using google analytic to analyze my traffic. Where as, google webmaster is used to update my sitemap to google, and checking for any crawl error. I am not sure how google webmaster traffic compared to google analytic, but they are different. I have run same sites in both webmaster and analytic previously and my result turns out to be different :S

    But I found google anlytic very comprehensive so I stick to it.

    Analytics shows you what has happened on your site once someone has visited it. Webmaster tools shows you how the Google crawler sees your site and data from when google has shown you in their search results.

You can use this information to fix problems with your site and improve your sites visibility with Google and your buyers. Below you'll find just some of the information you can get from Google Webmaster Tools: Crawling errors, most clicks, how many clicks, sitemap report etc.
