Hi All,
What actually Black hat Seo is ? I have been doing Seo for a long time and i am using the genuine techniques according to Googles terms and Conditions. The title tag, the Links the Description metas and all the usual stuff.
Could anyone explain what BLACK HAT Seo is ?
What is the difference in Black hat Seo vs White hat Seo ?

    So far I know google count Black Hat anything which is beyond their guidelines such as cloaking, keyword stuffing, doorway pages, paid links, shadow domains etc.

    These terms were originally taken from hacking, Google decided to include them so that seos would feel like they were doing something wrong if they didn't do the kind of optimization that Google is interested in. So long as you do not break the law by doing things like hacking into someone else's website, you are doing white hat seo.

      I remember when people used to just build websites to refer friends and local clients to. In the process (myself included) we all made mistakes that Google seemed unworthy for their search engine (Black hat is invented).

      As a result, everyone tried to be the "saint" in their eyes, but in the long run...who are they to set the standards, especially when their search algorithm has had so many inclusions such as the dreaded "Penguin" that makes no sense at all? You can't play by the rules that they set, so you will always be black hat.

      You can't keep up with it, and there is no such thing as black hat. If you are doing anything illegal it's hacking websites, creating fake antivirus's and referring people to the only solution (your product which can remove it) and mass spamming email accounts with Viagra ads from numerous countries. I have met people in real person who do these things.

      SEO is great, but there are other ways to get clients and traffic. Don't punish yourself for what came before you..

    You can search it on Google, black hat mean using illegal ways to do SEO, that's not good for promoting a website.
    White hat SEO, it's using legal methods to do SEO, Google will not penalize you.

    Not everyone in this world can work according to rules. Since its difficult to work with the rules and achieve success, people devised few short cuts in SEO which we call Black Hat Seo. Nevertheless, Black Hat Seo is avoided now a days due to its negative implications one may have to face after Google's two updates.

    Black hat techniques used by webmaster to get high rank in SERP in short term. Black hat techniques include Keyword stuffing, Doorway pages, Clocking and hidden text. White Hat SEO follows the search engine rules and regulation whereas Black Hat SEO doesn't follow the search engine rules and regulations. White hat SEO produce long-term results in terms of rankings whereas Black hat SEO produce short-term results in terms of rankings.

    White hat is employing natural linking techniques for the search engines an example is getting links naturally like nothing shady or trying to trick search engines... a good example would be blogging, guest blogging, article submissions, social bookmarking, press releases.

    Black hat is where you do things frowned upon by google, like keyword stuffing, invisible text in your website, people using tools that get mass amount of links in a short period, duplicate content(or stealing and rewriting slightly).

    there is also gray hat where its kind of in between that would be like paying for links, using blog for commenting for sole purpose of getting a linkback.
