Question about adding new keywords to meta tags

When you look at your analytics and find keywords that your sites are ranking for that you are not already targeting then is it best to add them to your site in the tags, meta tags etc..?

Maybe this is an obvious question..?

    Seems like you quite know the answer to it. Doesn't really make any difference though. Google must have already provided meta description and tags from the content. Make sure you add the tags without messing around with wrong stuff
