Hi Fellow Warriors,

I just want to share with you the off page method I use for my websites. I would like fellow warriors to have a look and add any methods if I have left any and correct me if I’m using any black hat method. I use this package on a monthly basis on my websites.

Tier 1 Links – Links to Website

Bookmarking – I use to bookmark my website in 10 bookmarking websites with a minimum PR of 4. I use unique title and description for each bookmarking

Article submission – I write a 500 word article and submit it to 20 article directories with minimum PR of 4. For directories like Ezine and other PR 6 and 5 directories I use keywords as anchor texts. For article directories less than PR 5 I use website name, url and other general words like click here, please visit my website as anchor text.

Web 2.0 – I again write a 400 word article and create 15 web 2.0 properties with mixture of primary keyword and url as anchor texts.

Press Release – I again write a press release with minimum 300 words and submit the press release to 15 press release directories with a minimum PR of 3

Document sharing sites – I convert the content I created for article, web 2.0 and press release into pdf and submit it to 10 document sharing website with a mixture of primary keyword, website name, website url as anchor text.

Video Submission – I create a video explaining my services and offers using animotto and submit the video to 10 video directories like youtube. I just add the website url in the description of the video while submitting.

Business Pages – If it’s a new website I use to submit my website’s to business directories like hot frog, insider pages, yellow pages and yelp.

Q&A Websites – On a average I search around 5 questions related to my niche in various Q&A websites and answer those questions and add my website url to the answers as source.

Guest Blogging – On a average I contact and submit guest blogs to 2 blogs related to my niche with a minimum PR of 2 with primary keywords as anchor text.

Blog Comments - I do around 3 to 4 blog comments if it really adds value and has potential to bring traffic to my website in related blogs with a minimum PR of 2

Tier 2 links – I use to create these links to approved article urls, web 2.0 and guest blog posts.

I take each and every url where I have created a link to my website and bookmark it in 5 bookmarking website and then I create 5 forum profiles.

Apart from link building I regularly post updates on my Facebook fan page and twitter account about the website's.

I spread out the above link building to a period of 20 to 25 days. I request the experienced warriors to have a look at my plan and point to me if there is any flaw which I can correct.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Thanks,
Sridhar

Yea it depends largely on the competition.

But in normal cases Tier1 seems good to go for an easy keyword (lets say top 5 competitors with less than 100 BLP), but Tier2 seems lacking some power, this can be hundreds of blog comments, profile links, bookmarking links and/or article directories links to really pass link juice if you've any automation software, if not, just order a fiverr gig that accepts "a list of urls" to help power up your tier1 links.

Btw, do you have a plan to get them indexed? If budget allows, backlinkindexer works best, linkilicious also works fine.

For manual indexing RSS feed - go to RSS XML Generator and submit all your links into it to create rss feeds, and then you can just submit those feeds right there or use Free RSS Submit Tool Online on BulkPing.com

This should be able to get 20-30% of your Tier2 links indexed.

Better not to expect any good result before confirming your backlinks are indexed. You can use inspyder backlink monitor to check whether they are indexed (free version up to 50 urls each run - pretty fast thou)

I'm sure you've a plan after 25 days? Just do not stop building links and grow the amount of links after each run.

    Some more tips:
    1) Control your anchor text to no more than 60% as your targeted keywords, better to research a bit and have at least 2-3 targeted keywords for each page. Lets say for every 3/4 links one would be generic anchor. (I think this's the key tactic that made all my sites penguin-proof)

    2) The number of "Real" blog commenting in "high pr blogs" can be more, and would best be "relevant" to your niche. Try to leave targeted keyword first, if the blog owner doesn't accept the first time, use yoururl or yourbrand in the other post. For those that allow, keep using targeted keywords on their other posts in the future

    3) For long-term stable ranking, considering building your own private blog network, a small network of 10 to 20 high pr blogs can already be quite powerful.

Lastly, considering getting some high pr contextual links via someone's blog network (fiverr gig or networks like ranksolver).

I think there's a huge myth about blog network. Firstly 4 of my friends did receive that message after BMR got hit but most of their sites' rank BETTER (many keywords still remain on top spots) even after penguin.

The main reason is that their sites have great diverse backlink profile and diverse anchor text, and those links from blog network only accounts for, lets say 10-15% of their overall backlinks. So they were able to recover from a few spots change pretty fast (shouldn't use "recover", instead a little fluctuation)

Most people said their sites lost ranking, their sites were gone, blog network is dead, and even internet marketing is dead  was because they relied too heavily on blog network as their primary backlink source, or because of over-optimization of anchor text.

So it's ok to use blog network and those contextual links are still very powerful if you use it right. In your case you already have quite a diverse backlink profile, so mixing some blog network links should be no problem.

    Hope this helps,
