A friend was banned from Google Adsense program recently

He appealed but lost it. He is really fed up with everything about making money online.

So, I bought over his domain names/websites.

Can I put my adsense codes on this websites without fanning the wrath of Google Team? My friend listed the websites when he was making his appeal.

  • If you bought the websites there shouldn't be no problem. Google gives publishers their ID by personal information. Can you say what made google do this? What was happening?

    • I had a site like this I bought from GoDaddy Afternic. I contacted Adsense about it and they took care of it and reauthorized the site for Adsense.

  • You may need to contact google adsense and have the ban lifted since you bought the website as it may still have a ban on the website. They need to release it.

    • Hard to say without knowing the reason for the banning. Unless you know for an absolute fact it wasn't site related, I'd write adsense, tell them about it and then get their ok. Better to do that than take a chance on losing your account as well.

  • I dont think so. Since you are the new owner of that site so you will be running it differently from your friend. Besides, you will be using your own google account not his.
  • Why are you asking here? How would anyone know?

    Ask Google - they will tell you.

    You will most likely get led astray asking questions about Google's policies on this forum.
  • I would definitely contact Google and let them know that you recently bought these websites and that the previous owner told you they had been banned so you are now asking their advice.

    Make sure you know in advance that there is no site related issues.
