adsense clicks tracking

hello,

I have had a site earning a steady amount for some months and up until now has been my only adsense site.

Today I have installed adsense on another site which I hope will start earning as it gets traffic daily.

My question is:

Whats the best way to track where each click earning me money is coming from, as I cant find the related answer on the adsense dashboard. Is it only by setting up url channels and/or custom channels that this can be done or is there somewhere already providing the info from within the dashboard automatically?

The way I track how much money an individual Adsense page is earning, is by connecting my Adsense account to my GA (Google Analytics) account.

I'm sure you'll have a few paranoids chime in about GA (lol), but I've had my Adsense account hooked up to GA for a few years with no problems. Then again I don't do anything shady with Adsense.

With GA I can track how much each Adsense page earns for the last 365 days, sorting by highest earning Adsense page.

I have actually just found the tab in the adsense dahsboard to tell you how many clicks an individual site gets per chosen time period. Cant believe I didn't see it yesterday, must of been looking to hard.

    For anyone else looking:

Select "Performance and Reports" tab on the top nav then slect "sites" from the left hand sidebar nav.

  • Yeah linking Adsense and GA provides a lot of useful data.

It's well worth doing as long as you're no up to anything shady.
