Help me improve SEO

Hello gang. As you may or may not know I run a drug addiction website. I did this as a hobby and its growing up nicely. However, I want to improve the rankings on search engines. I don't get many filtering through and I want to improve this.

Could you recommend the cheapest or free ways to do this, which is not very time consuming.

    You niche is very demand-able and you are really doing a great job. Just make sure you have done the onpage seo for your site properly and then open up a group or a FB fan page with the name of your site and start adding interested and target people of your niche. Share your articles there and interact with your audience and you will see that you are bang on target and getting a lot of hits to your sites.

      FB page open and growing by the day. The website is managed by WordPress so I use there SEO plugin which has the keywords imputed for the homepage as well as the posts

    To solve this problem you must read the full tutorial about SEO and Do the following off page activities.
    - Article submission
    - Forum Posting
    - Social Bookmarking
    -Directory Submission
    - Micro Blogging etc. It will help you to increase your keyword up in google search.

    for increase traffic do the following tasks.
    - Promote your site in social sites like Facebook, Linked In etc
    - Do Press Release submission
    - Do Classified Submission. etc

    There is no cheapest way. If you have knowledge about SEO then you should simple follow link building white HAT techniques then i am sure you will be able to see your results on top positions on search engine.

    Hello! Just continue backlinking and also, try promoting your site to get more visits so it can at least get page one on search engines. Also, upgrade your site every once in a while and try as much backlinking as possible. I hope that helped you in a way or so.

    Build links in various ways. Such as social media marketing and the others as mentioned previous posts. But the cheapest and free ways are lengthy process.You have to spend to get a refund.

    It's totally possible with little money as long as you stick to a "plan" - like building 10-15 links (those kinds of links mentioned above) per day without stopping even if results are not showing in the first few weeks.

    And today it's all about diverse backlink profile (still web2.0 blogs count the most) and anchor text (<50% targeted anchor).

    If you decide to build links manually, better focus on keywords with less than 100 BLP on top 5 (and of course not much high pr sites) to start with and to see results a bit faster.

    This is exactly the "simple" plan I started with (with 1% of SEO knowledge compared to now) and gradually ranked 20+ keywords on top 10 for my first niche site that started making 700-900/month after 3 months when starting in I.M. last year.

    I mean just keep taking action with a "simple" plan and you'll start {learning|wanting to learn} more and realizing what works and what doesn't.
