Hey warriors,

Just wanted to know what you thought of this site, and what they are doing.
I was just analyzing a competitors website, and I noticed that they used a company called roi to seo their site.

Could this be one of roi's link networks they are using to help my competitors site?

You'll see at the bottom if you click on the very bottom links (trade, automotive etc) that they are using disguised link farms, and have blended the link colours to match the text colour.

Oh and of course is there a way to utilise this, or destroy it?

Any thoughts guys.

What I don't see any external links on that page?? only Roi and a Gplus page, so what? even if they are gaming Google you need to be smarter... why don't you go and concentrate on your own website, unless it is your own website and you are building shady backlinks..

It isn't my own website, why would I make this thread if it was :/ What I'm asking is what is this site trying to achieve, it's clearly an attempt at a link farm is it not?

Would this be the work of an SEO company?

Was just asking for thoughts no need for agression.

By they way there is many external links, they are blended in with the text hover over the text.

Who cares..link farm or not? The links look nice and tidy to me, nothing but a few link exchanges. Sorry I just hate it when people come here trying to ruin their competitors other than trying to be smarter than them and working on their own websites. You're doing nothing but helping his ranking by building backlinks to his site. You are on an seo forum where people like to build links like this, outing people or blasting their sites with neg seo is probably not going to get you anywhere here, thats what the GWT forum is for, if you are going to do it.

Why would I build links to his site? I don't have the time or energy to do bull like this, I build my own links always have always will. Doesn't mean you can have a go at me, this is like you said an open forum, and if I would like opinions on the matter that's what I'll get.

I realise link building/seo is a touchy subject but I just want thoughts on the matter.

You have just built two backlinks in this thread and likely anywhere else you are posting this discussion. You asked for an opinion and I gave it to you.

Whatever Roi is doing it's not a link farm, they are leveraging the power of their clients websites and providing them with alternative resources in the local area.

It's not overboard, nobody has said link exchanges are against the rules, it's just when you go OTT and have 200+ links on a page or build websites specifically for ranking purposes.

Maybe you should contact a few local business' and exchange a few links and then submit to a few local directories, write a few articles etc..
