Something very strange happening

Hey guys,

I need some help. Hopefully someone can advise me what really is happening to my website.

My website is ranking very well with 10 keywords on Page #1 Google (only 1 URL). All KWs are above position #4 - main page

Today I found that all keywords are gone from except for 2 and one of them dropped from position #1 to Position #9 - the other one dropped from Position #3 to Position # 185 - the rest were blasted out of Earth's surface.

The strange thing is that why are there 2 keywords left on top 200 with one top 10. It doesn't make sense. If the URL is penalized then everything will be gone (this is what I think, I might be wrong)!

I did not receive any message on WMT so I decided to delete all my websites from Analytics and WMT after reading all the scary stories.

Please help. Thanks

Could be anything... have you been building any links? have you stopped building links?

How old is the site ?

  Thanks for the respond. The site is about 9 months and I've been building approximately 4 - 10 backlinks everyday non stop. Almost all the keywords hit page #1 end of March and keep climbing up all the way until today...... All KW gone except 2.... this is what make me scratch my head

I heard more rumours about people getting some sort of a keyword penalty instead of page penalty, maybe that is the case with you as well.

  Thanks for the respond but I do not think this is the case for me because if it is a KW penalty then the one that is still on Position #9 should be the one getting it as I believe it has the most backlinks to it.

May be google dance, may be caching, may be penguin 1.1 release. Wait for 48 hours and check again.

Its Google dance. Happened with one of my website.Three keywords were dropped and one was out of the SERP. I got them back after one month.

Have you stopped building links or has it been awhile sense you updated your site? That could be a problem.

As I've replied before, I did not stop backlinking and I keep updating once a week.

I just check all the keywords again. Only one keyword left on top 200. The one at #9 got blasted of into black hole but the other keyword climbed from #185 to to #152.

I will wait for another 48 hours as suggested by jewelraz before decide on further action. I suspect that it is cause by caching
