Adsense/Youtube questions about video content

I would like to know exactly what kind of videos are acceptable for adsense/youtube.

I wanted to make slide shows, using really attractive thumbnails to get more views, but I don't want to use the wrong kind. Here let me give you a few examples of what I'm talking about.

Now we all know what this image looks like, and that's part of the reason it has more than 24 million views. Would this get you banned from adsense. I mean it just a tree actually.

Here's another pic that seem to be on the border of acceptable/unacceptable.

As we all know sex sells, so having pics like this as your thumbnail is sure to increase your views, but will this be considered deceptive methods by Google.

Just as a experiment I placed a video slide show on youtube sunday, with a sexy pic as the thumbnail an it has gotten almost a thousand views so far. I have not associated that youtube account with my adsense account yet though.

Now my other option is to go the weird/funny route. I placed a slide show of a weird picture on youtube but it only got 8 views since sunday.

These type of vids also receives plenty of views but it seems to be more hit and miss than the examples above.

All of these videos have more than a million views, mostly because of using attractive thumbnails.

I would say all of those are acceptable other than the first one. Even if you are not showing a male's actual body parts, but showing something that's mimicking it can been seen as unacceptable in advertsing and should not be used.

The same with the fairer sex, you can generally show a women's cleavage but if it reveals her nipples even though it's not completely showing her full breast, again it's unacceptable and should not be used.

In either case you risk getting your advertising accounts banned permanently.

I would never use the first vid on my personal account, but the guy hugging the pole, or the chick on the train tracks is what I was think about using.

A very long time ago I had a youtube account with nothing but sexy videos, in 1 month I received over 60 thousand views from 10 videos all because the thumbnails showed a little booty lol.

That account was banned, because I made a couple mistakes, but it was just a youtube account, no biggie, and those vids were pass the line that I would cross now, especially with my adsense account on the line.

Youtube has got some awesome trends, I posted here a few times about it but you can also use breaking news stories recorded from the TV and stuff from Google hot trends, not all of it will be popular but some of it gets millions of views.

New music videos also get millions of hits so making something related to Lady Gaga's new single would go viral..

Some of the more controversial topics are racist slurs, others include people getting getting injured, like that student who got hit by a bus, these videos tend to go viral very quickly.

Even if you are using pictures you may find it hard to get Adsense approved without a full copyright, they are getting really picky now..

Yea for me, it may not be worth it, to many unknowns. You can never know if the pics your using is copyright or music in the background etc. A part of me wants to try the youtube thing, but another part is like stick to what you know.

Oh yea, I do a ton of research on a subject before coming on the forum and asking questions.

Would they consider the girl on the train tracks mature content, idk.

Honestly, i really don't see why its should if it adhere to Adsense rules and regulation.

It should be good to go.

I was actually going to say Nest if I were you I would steer clear of Youtube and Adsense, unless you're going for the full on developer style channel. There are too many idiots hanging around on yt that just click bomb your ads, not to mention yt is the regular haut for anonymous. You're much safer using aff links or links to sites with content lockers, pay to share etc.
