PR10 website with no back links at all ?

I found a supposed pr 10 site offering blog roll links for 100$ per year,

the site has no back links what so ever.. how can it be ? something is not right here any one care to enlighten me ?
Its just a blog with a bunch of articles.. i don't get why it would have a pr10 on it.

It's not a PR 10. It is faked. Not hard to do if you know what you are doing.

Plus, if it was real, you could sell links for $100/day on it.

Probably be a fake pr as mentioned previously you can use a pr page checker to validate its pr ranking

  Probably a fake?? It is DEFINITELY a fake.
  
  Note that there is a relatively new fake PR technique being used that will pass all the fake PR checkers.
  
  However, a bit of common-sense will quickly tell you that a page on a domain that's been recently registered and has no backlinks could in no way have a legitimate PR10.

  This is pretty simple to do with 301s right? you can check it by searching 'info:siteurl' if the url displayed in the serp is different to that of the site, the PR has been faked.

I just found a domain name that claims to be PR 7 on a different forum. The tools showed that it did have a PR 7. What was hilarious about it was that it was only two months old. And had no back links.

I'm wondering how these people do this stuff!

I believe its fake. Even FB only has PR9. Twitter PR10.

  PR checkers won't work in this situation, as is the definitive info: command.
  
  You have to check the date when the domain was registered and number of backlinks manually and make your own judgement.

well that was i was thinking .. my pr checker tool bar says pr10 as well as this site Check Page Rank | cekPR.com

but defiantly does not look like a pr10
if anyone wants to check the actual domain PM me and i will sent it so you can see for your self's.

Am also wondering now after penguin if blog roll links carry value any more ?
i could really need a boost at this time but wondering if they still work (at least high pr blogs)
