Quick Question! Bing vs Google?

After a month of having my site up I checked my rankings on bing for the first time a few seconds ago... turns out I'm number #2!!!!!!! Whats puzzling is that google analytics doesn't say anything about bing and I'm nowhere to be found on the google se, what's going on?!?!?!

  • It's normal. Bing and Google show different results on their SERP. My websites usually shown up on Google 1st page but rarely on Bing.

    Anyway, you should strive to rank your site on Google coz Google will give you more traffic than Bing.

  • I've had MUCH more traffic come from a #7 spot on Google as opposed to a #1 slot on Bing. Google has WAAAY more searchers.

    • Which is interesting because I've been reading / hearing that Bing / Yahoo account for 40% of search traffic. Seems too high to me.

  • Yeah I know that google is where the money's at! but then this results must say something about my website right? Given these results, what do I need in order to appear up on google now?

  • Bing and Goolge are using different algorithms for the SERP.
    Any Search engine beside Google is worthless. That is sad but true. Google has a monopoly on SEO and we have to adjust ourself.
