It's a great theme. I use it on over 450 niche websites and I can't complain. If you create a custom made header and put it at the top then it looks really nice.

I'm still using the theme on most of my sites. Some got hit with the Penguin update, some actually improved. I don't think the theme is causing any of the hits.

I believe the themes layout and functionalities are all within the Adsense TOS. There is no reason why Google would want to crack down on a theme, be it SEO or Adsense wise.

Use semiologic theme. It's a clean design. Suitable for adsense website. Design your own header using xheader. Then you are good to go

Will my adsense acct get ban if I use "push down image" option? I thought it is Adsense TOS not allowing this. Thanks!

It's best to have some content above the fold. Avoid only setting roadblock Ads. It is an aggressive strategy to use roadblock Ads, but if there are lots of clicks it would attract google attention. If using roadblock ads keep it with other layouts as well so that there is rotation of layouts.

    Ionfore,

CTR theme is basically a wordpress theme designed to achieve a better CTR (click through rate) hence getting more money for Adsense clicks.

Many guys use it to make mini-websites and profit from its high CTR feature.

    Hope it helps.

I created my own theme which has a similar layout and has been working well.

It's probably quite unlikely that google will ever penalise because of a theme being used, so I'm sure the CTR theme is cool.

The only bad point I can see is that it is so popular that some of the manual reviewers must see it a lot and they might start judging the website straight away even if it isn't spammy.

The CTR theme is great and works well on niche adsense sites. The heatmap theme is another good option.

What do you mean by adsense approved websites?

if it was me i would build many sites using that theme. A couple sites is one thing but when you hav 10-50 sites all using the same theme to me thats when you start to leave a footprint

CTR themes works very well. Few months back I bought "adsense pro ultimate" for $69 and after applying to some of my sites my ctr has went up to 5-7%.

Their support has been great too. Its the best investment I've ever made in years...
