Bought a aged PR3 domain which also has high PR inner pages how to take advantage for this ?

Hi guys,

i bought a PR3 domain afew days ago to start a new site on a tough keyword, The domain has 2 PR2 inner pages how do i take advantge of this ?

Is is something like this.. Add a 301 direct plugin (if there is one) and direct them 2 inner pages to the homepage

Is that it ?

  • You can 301 redirect it, but you should actually check whether there are PR links pointing to the inner pages. The PR could have just flowed from the root. If there are links you can recreate the pages and use it to build up a first tier site. Recreating the page is better practice.

    • ^yup, try to recreate the pages if they have external links that pass PR. Use a "custom permalinks" plugin for WP if necessary.
