I believe that natural links are exactly that - natural.

There should really be no pattern, and if you're attempting to emulate natural links... they end up becoming not so natural.

In technical terms, I think you want to stay away from obvious artifical behavior such as:
    - thousands of links coming in too fast
    - too many links with the same anchor text
    - too many links pointing to the same place, not enough distribution
    - not enough link variation (all coming from the same method)

Keep in mind, this list is just something I believe to be true, not sure of where Google actually stands. One thing I know for sure is that no "10,000 backlink blast" looks natural!

Hopefully that helped give you some clarity.

If you have a blog where people can comment then there would be a relation between the number of comments and the number of people that link back to you.

When you have something news worthy at your website to mention then a follow up pressrelease would be pretty natural.

So if you really want to go the natural path then adding content and date/time stamps of backlinks should be somewhat in line, obvious people would also link years after but the boost should be at the time that the content get's published.

To me it also feels natural that you get social links from your own account during the startup of the website, I mean you would want to promote it right.

Anyway, you have to be pretty serious about your business to follow such path. For most people on this forum who build affiliate sites or large amounts of MFA sites it would be kind of hard to go that path.

Although I sell link packages and obvious they work, it is not very natural to get a whole bunch of links from very diverse sources all within a couple of weeks, especially for existing sites that didn't do much SEO this leaves pretty much of an unnatural profile.

I dont think Google is that smart yet to look at time/date stamps but it's not unrealistic to think that might happen in the future. (all within ratio's ofcourse).

    Thank you guys...
You show me the answer that natural link pattern is random. Including the randomize of anchor, its time creation, destination of the links and sites where links are placed (relevant sites/pages are important).
Please help me to know more criteria of natural links if you know them or correct me if I am wrong..

A link which is "Naked" doesn't wear "Anchor text clothes" and a shared by a person with his friends because he/she believes its helpful.

    'nuff said? Yep!
