I'm thinking of using some low competitive keywords with exact domain names and I'm not willing to do link building, however, I can do some directory submission as it doesn't give any bad impact on SEO..

So what are some good on-page elements to do this and how to do this?

I can use properly managed keyword density, can use around 1000 word articles...

I can use keyword in image as well.

If only simple html page works good then I can use it also.

Or you can recommend any WP SEO theme which can be used in free. And some plugins with it.

If I would exact match keyword of 2000, competing pages in "" would be around 30,000 would it help rank on first place in Google without backlinks?

  • If you want better On-Page optimization, do not hide anything under a link. Common example is 'Reveal the coupon code'. Google detects all such content and may treat it as spam. You can search more about the topic in their help.
  • Hi,

There's a lot more to on-page SEO than what you've just described... Like:
    • Make sure your website is W3C valid.
    • Track down any grammatical / orthographical error
    • Use H tags
    • Have permalinks
    • Have an XML sitemap
    • Use synonyms / similar expressions to your main keyword
    • Etc...
    Seb.
