Purpose of Uploading videos to video sites (e.g. using Traffic Geyser)

I'm wondering the purpose of uploading videos to various videos sites - for example, using a fiverr Traffic Geyser gig. Is the purpose to rank these videos in google video search and get traffic to your website if there's a link there in the description? Or is the purpose for SEO effect - the links in the description will count as good backlinks?

Because if I'm not wrong, many video sites may allow links, but they aren't clickable (does that mean there's no effect)?

So what do people use these gigs for? Traffic or SEO? If so, how? Do you input a link in your description to your Youtube video or your website or both?

    It's for traffic. I read an eBook somewhere where altering the description/everything to your main keyword gives you the advantage for the results page for your keyword. The people searching your video is already targeted traffic.

    If you make 1 video a day on your website and include your link either IN the video or on the video site description and post it to 20 sites = 7000 videos+.

    If every single one of those videos after 1 year attain 100 views each = 700,000 views.

    The guy in the eBook said the CTR for the video to the money site was around 10-20%. So it 10% of those 700,000 views = 70,000 people get to your site, well you see where I'm going here = $

    Of course you'll get more than 100 views for video / the CTR may be higher or lower, but, this is a free source of traffic.
