How much Link building required for websites

Hey,
How many links we should make for our website in month? 40 to 50 or more than that?

    That is unless your keyword has < 500 exact searches per month

    Nobody can answer this question for you it's far too vague

    and the fact of the matter is just.... nobody really knows

      and frankly there is not answer, a site can go viral in a matter of days and end up with 1000s of links to many pages
      just make sure to keep it natural, if your site isn't going viral then perhaps you need to scale up your link building slowly and increase over time so that you have a natural link building profile as well as link velocity (speed you are getting backlinks)

      This has got to be the best answer to your question. Nobody has set rules about the quantity of links that you need to make in order for you to reach the top of the search results. If you're going to look at your competition, they just keep on doing it to maintain their spot, or even raise their ranks even if they're number 1. Just remember, don't spam.
  • Link building isn't complicated. A few links from Press Release Website, Social Bookmarking, web 2.0 link wheel, comments, forum profile does the trick with a extra forget backlink method is enough to land my website under 500,000 competition on page 1.

    And To Move Up In My Rank I generally go for web 2.0 links, with at least a hundred rss as the second tier and other spamming links.

    Extra Information I Notice.
    With the launch of a new website, link building should be on a high and gradually decrease as you website is on page one. And base on what your link building strategic you may not need to build links every day.

  • You should increase the backlink steadily for your site. But be clear in mind that the backlink which you get for you domain must be related to your niche.

    Don't try to get more spam link. Avoid backlink from no-follow sites and through blog commenting.

    • Why avoid backlinks from no-follow sites? You need no-follow links, just because they do not pass link juice does not mean you don't need them if you are only getting do-follow links then that's not going to look good.

  • Right nobody can answer exactly but you need to do natural or organic way to gey back links. try to do blog comment on high PR blogs, your content should be well optimized and unique then go to directory submissions, articles submissions and social bookmarking sites. Your link building strategy should be going slowly and quality based.

Do more and more off page optimization for your site, but make sure do all techniques in ethical way. When you do off page optimization, remember it always use high PR sites and do follow sites.

    • There is no specific number to how many links you should get in order to rank better in search results. You should rather focus on obtaining high quality links from well established sources. A few quality backlinks will help you more than hundreds of backlinks with no value.
  • There is no really specific amount of time or links on this. Link building takes time if you want good results.
