2 languages on the same blog - 80/20 does it fly?

Hi there,
so I have a site which KWds that I target have around 70-80% of the traffic from English speaking countries and 20-30% of traffic from German speaking countries. The Germans are only looking for the "german part" and all sites ranking in google.de are written in German.
Do you see any problems if the articles/pages the Germans are looking for are written in German and the rest in English?
I do not want a bi-lingual blog alltogether or use any silly translators that jeopardize quality.
