Post penguin strategies - What else do you want to know?

As a few of you know I have been planning a video training session (youtube probably) right here for free in this forum for my 5,000 post.

No sig either just like this one . Just tired of all the SEO is dead nonsense and figured I would do something special for the 5,000 post

I already have a pretty detailed training on an old link building technique with a relatively new twist (there really are no news secrets in SEO - anyone claiming that is blowing smoke) that works just fine for Penguin (and no it does not involve having to buy aged domains).

Outside of link building I'll have a few tips but thought I would ask for any of th newbies or those just lost nowadays in SEO. If you could get an answer to one problem in SEO after penguin what would that be? (besides something general like how to rank )

I'll see if I can pick one and put up some answers and extra techniques. Soo shoot

    Hi! I have a few questions about this current Google update:

    1. What else can I do to deal with this update aside from contents, anchor text diversion, and diversified link building?

    2. With this current update, is aiming to have better rankings in Google still make sense? Or we will just focus on driving traffic to our site?

    3. I have been reading some articles about the power of Social Media sharing complementing this current update. If this is true, what are those benefits aside from mere exposure?

    So these are my questions. If you have some other tips, information, or whatever you have to help me I would greatly appreciate it.

      Content and links pretty much covers a lot in SEO even post Penguin.Only other thing is removal of links. I will cover though that SEO is not dead.

      Not at all. Specially for guy like Anthony.

      When I first started here in this forum I used to concentrate on answers of guys who have thousands posts and thousands thanks. But the truth is, here in WF I got some guys who have very small amount of posts as well as thanks but are hyper knowledgeable. Even they can be nightmares for WFMs with 5000 posts and 3000 thanks!

    Some web2.0 to act as tier 1 then load of spam to backlink the web2.0. Does that work is my question to Mark Anthony. I don't care if my sites are nowhere in 1 year time with this method.

        To recover from penguin for backlink anchor text over optimization.-
        If you can, is it worth to go back and change the anchor text of the backlinks you have made. And if so how long will it take google to notice the corrected anchor text backlinks.

          I would say, rather than changing existing links, better to get new links with anchor text variations.

    How to create rock solid links that have value, which google will never know we created. I don't want them to be able to track us by in anyway by IP, by cookie, by gmail, by domain ownership, by hacking into our webcam or by google satellite or google prawn.

    In fact I want the links to be so secret and untraceable that as soon as we make them, we forget all about them or that we we did them.

    That's a mission if you choose to accept it.

    There are a lot of us who are just trying to do the best we can, with little guidance. We pick up pieces here and there, but in my case, don't really understand the whole picture.

    After 3 years of learning SEO on my own, all I know is writing articles in ezines and hope they get published on decent sites, comment on blogs with keywords and do a couple of forums in the niche.

    I know there's more done for linking like web 2.0 stuff and social bookmarking, but if you could put it all in one place for novices like myself, it would be appreciated.

      3 years and that's all you've learnt ?

      Stop waiting around for people to help you or create "something new". There's nothing new except ever evolving tactics that chase the google's algos.

      You can do that, or you can put yourself in a position where you are always ahead of Google no matter what updates they release.

      I'm hoping that's what Mike is gonna be showing in this video.

    Mine is just about Google Penguin, my site lost it's ranking after penguin update and it's been a tough job getting it back... we did necessary changes on the content what else should I do to bring it back on track.

    Some newbie SEO's prefer it the NEW way.. Automation.. and consider the OLD way a hassle because they have to do it manually. In my opinion, doing white hat is no waste of time, because it can survive any Google update.. Links or promotion isn't all just quantity.. its Quality, Relevancy and Frequency..

      First video is done but had some sound issues....So now I am back up to 4,999 oh and 5,000 should drop in less than 48 hours (just in time for Independence day) so holler for rafiseo but I am sure he will still hate it (Don't do anything close to a Frank Kern video - just a normal guy with a below average voice -for recording anyway).
