how can I replace my site title (h1) with a logo without using the 'upload' option on certain wordpress theme? I know hw to edit the html but on my pass exp (not wordpress, static site), I try to place it, but after that strange result in google, ranking drop, and showing www.mysite.com in google..

    You should not do what you are trying to do.

    An H1 tag is for text, not images. Your site Title is text, using an image makes for semantically invalid HTML. And this will make it difficult for Google to know what your page is about and you will suffer in the rankings as a result.

    If you are trying to place a logo on your website header, Most WP themes allows for this and you can use CSS in your stylesheet to position that image wherever you need it, even over the H1 text if you want.
