I did some research today and found a pure BRILLIANT adwords adcopy.

I was debating some time whether i should write this in public, but here you go. This is AdCopy which should give INSANE CTR, the "idea" is nothing new, but the wording is just brilliant, brilliant:

Warning - "Product Name"
We Bought It And Tried It.
Guess What We Found Out?
Scam-Online.com

If you look at that copy, it combines some GENIUS elements, even myself couldnt resist clicking to check what's going on.

Everything about that ad is just pure genius....

(not related to them in any way)

There's no doubt that this copy would yield very high CTR..although i am no sure how good it would convert.

That is sure to draw clicks, but won't people be pissed when they get to your site and see you are actually promoting the product, not talking about what a scam it is?

you will laugh. Today i blatantly copied this, and i got me a very similar domain name and used the adcopy 1:1

I got "great" quality score promoting a current clickbank product.

HOWEVER - The problem is another:

The problem is that literally everyone and their mama ATM uses the "Scam exposed" "Truth about Scam" technique in the Ads.

I checked for the product and 80% of all the ads used similar wording.

Since i had a REAL benefit to offer (a discount) i quickly switched my "Warning" ad to a ad where i said that i offer the product CHEAPER - instead of being the 99th with a "Scam Revealed" ad... i quickly realized its getting old.

Well I think the point is if you were to use this the URL won't be scam.com you would replace it with your domain and your product like
    this.

I personally hope Adwords bans the use of the word "scam" as they have done with other terms.

None of these ads talk about scams but instead promote the products listed.

In addition to this, people are using these types of ads to promote competing products.

For example, you search "product 1" and see "Product 1 is a scam" but when you click on the ad it takes you to product 2 or a site about product 2.

I have had to get my attorney involved in people doing this kind of crap with my products.

In the above example I like "guess what we found out?" because it generates curiosity. "Warning" and "scam" are disingenuous and asking for trouble.

I'm sure google won't tollerate this trend for much longer. Once they see it being abused I think they'll put a stop to it.

This technique has been around ever since project X came out, which means, its been around for atleast 2 years and google has not yet really penalized anyone for it.
