Diffrent rankings in different tools???????

I use many tools for checking ranks of my keywords.Since few days I have observed huge variation in rankings. For eg "Social Network Design" is ranking at 3rd position in USA in one tool but at 13th in another tool..
Can anyone explains me this?? And then which one should I rely on ??

    I believe this is due to Google's different servers they use. Different ones are being reported by different tools that you're using. Some are obviously newer than others (due to the different rankings).

    As for which one to believe, I'd say wait until the dust settles and see where you end up. Could be moving around/fluctuating due to recent SEO work.

    Different toots are using different data center for results. For this reason results are different in different tools. Thanks

    Every tool has its own algorithm and database for fetching keyword rankings. This is why every tool shows variations in results. It's not about the keyword ranking only... In fact keyword search results also vary.
    As far as keyword ranking is concerned... I would advise you to check your rankings manually.
