  • Adwords really works .

The point is that in order to get the most from Google adwords you need to do it properly . in other words , you need to coordinate all critical elements of Google adwords .

    • Maybe this information is important for newbies.
But, thanks LoudMac for the comment.
    • You come here to say that, not everyone is a expert or even knows how adwords works.

DodyMorisson - I have been using adwords since DEC and yes it works. Though I was trying to work it all out by myself only recently I have tried PPC Classroom 2 to see if I can create better more effiecent ads.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Good if you have some money to invest, but there are many other great free ways to promote your blogs/sites.
  • Of course it works depending what you want from it. In principle, you pay Google money and they send traffic to your site. Depending on how much traffic you want and how many keywords you want to target will effect how much you will have to pay.

    • In terms of what? AdWords advertising is powerful and expensive, but it works in terms of providing traffic to your site. If you do not have a good sales or landing page you are basically flushing money down the loo.

There are plenty of folks ready, willing and able to take your money for their guaranteed Adwords solutions, however experimentation for your product and niche is the best info you can get.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Thanks Kite for supporting.
I've heard about targetting adwords method, so you can save much dollars in adwords.
It works by targetting your ads to the top list of basic searh with your targeted keyword.
    Any experiences about targetting method?

  • Everything can "work" or "not work."

If we accept the statistics that 95% of people fail in business, I can tell you that this is the truth no matter what the main technique used.

95% fail at article marketing and 5% succeed
95% fail at web 2.0 marketing and 5% succeed
95% fail at SEO and 5% succeed
95% fail at PPC and 5% succeed

Nothing new here. Business as usual.

  • Adwords works, but I have found that it ONLY
works if you know what the heck you are doing.
I spent a few hundred bucks on campaigns in the
    past with ZERO results.

Finally, I broke down and popped a few more bucks
    on a training course.

    The result?

Started a new campaign and within 48 hours...

    37 clicks, 1.2%CTR, 3 leads, 1 sale!

PPC cost was $10.47. Sale profit was $58.80.

It works now that I am not just handing Google
    my wallet.

    • Congrats on your sales! So.....which training course did you sign up for?
    • Can you tell us what kind of training Josh?
    • I completely agree with Josh.

If you want to get real results from adwords - be prepared to lose first .

In your first test , you could lose some money just for testing - but once you got the winning formula , you could get hundreds of dollars just from single campaign

  • Yea and long tail keywords is important. If you can get the keywords that is what exactly you have on your website then you will definitley make conversions.
  • Adwords is the best way to get guaranteed targeted traffic to a website on a daily basis.

You'd have to be mad to overlook it.

Forget the free traffic bandwagon and learn how to use paid traffic and scale.
  • Echo a lot of the comments on here- I've fallen for the high click prices and burned a lot of money in the past. Check out Perry Marshall's course at Perry Marshall - Google Adwords and Guerilla Marketing - or Chris Carpenters "GoogleCash" program - you'll learn how there is a HUGE amount of search traffic going out there that most people are not even targeting - so you can hit the front page for 0.05/click no problem!
  • Hey Sandra, Dody, et al.

I purchased PPC Domination from Mike Dillard's
library. This is Jim Yaghi's course and it has literally
paid for itself within 72 hours of launching my first
    campaign.

    First 48 hours, $58.80
    Next 24 hours, $248.40

PM me and I will tell you how to get a
HUGE discount on it. Well worth your time.
  • Thanks for the info Josh.
  • it works - i agree with george, josh etc... most people give up too soon, don't invest in training themselves, and/or don't want to put the work into learning how it works... so 95% fail, like in any business.

it takes time, but profitable campaigns are perfectly possible and not too difficult once you understand how to do it.

  • Adwords is Google's major (or probably only) source of income. So it definitely, absolutely, totally works.
  • Yes they do but you need to find out what type of campaign works for your business
  • Indeed it works. But at the same time there are many who waste money on it.
  • You can burn money fast with Google. As long as you spend your cash intelligently with a clear outcome being targetted then you can succeed. e.g. during set up you might spend cash to find out fast which keywords produce results and which to prune.

I'll spend a little more early to save time, but then I demand my campaigns be run at a profit fast. I've thrown away to much coin following hope. Be focused, follow googles rules and AdWords definitely works.
  • I don't have really experienced it. For me, adwords will work only if you have the right keywords for your campaign. I think keywords would affect in adwords campaign.

    • Selecting the right keywords are one of the most critical things that you must
      do in ad words .

But , you must be aware that selecting the right keywords is not enough to win the adwords game.
