It would make more sense to be getting 4 different backlinks from 4 totally different sources, in my opinion. Try different web 2.0 sites or find some links that are actually relevant to your niche, which are most likely going to do a lot more for you than the standard web 2.0 ones.

Yeah agree with you, instead of creating 4 blogs on same network create one blog in Blogger, one in WordPress, One in Weebly etc.

If you are going to create 4 web 2.0 sites, I think you would be better off creating them from 4 different web 2.0 sites.

Your blogspot blogs would all count as separate backlinks, but for seo purposes, more domain diversity would be better.

I have created web2.0 backlinks from different domains but there is only a certain number of decent web2.0s out there (with indexing for e.g.). I made backlinks from about 20 web 2.0 but now need to "reuse" ones that have already been used.

No these will not be effective for SEO. Backlinks from different class C IP address will work. So you should build backlinks from different class c domains. If you build backlinks using different anchor texts then yes it would work fine.

It should be different site but value of each backlink will be discounted from par. Let's imagine 100 backlink from only blogspot site, What google think about this? I'm sure it will treat this backlink as discounted. So try to make backlink from different source as much as possible.

Not sure what you meant. What if i get links from 2 authority sources... let's say:

XXX.harvard.edu
YYY.harvard.edu

Are you saying that because they are from the same domains, the value of these backlinks will be less effective?

you want them to be different domains, this way they will be different IPs and give you more domain diversity.

4 blogger sites
blog.blogger.com
random.blogger.com
three.blogger.com
four.blogger.com

these are 4 separate links but all coming from 1 IP blogger.com's IP.

go to opensiteexplorer (dot) org and enter in your website, root linking domains is different domains that link to you and total links is everything that links to you.

where as;

one.blogger.com
one.wordpress.com
one.webbly.com
one.tumblr.com

these are more effective as it is 4 links from 4 different IPs and 4 different root domains. This is stronger than 4 blogger links with the same IP and same domain.

I have created web2.0 backlinks from different domains but there is only a certain number of decent web2.0s out there (with indexing for e.g.). I made backlinks from about 20 web 2.0 but now need to "reuse" ones that have already been used.

Open new account then post new article in those web2.0s. You can bookmark all of them to index them fast.

There are many web 2.0 websites that are using "nofollow tag" and that is a big disadvantage because these IBLs will not count for the PageRank.

The more links you get from the same domain the less effective they become? Yes, I agree. But two links from a network is still better than one from that network but may not be as good as two from different networks, depending on the quality of the network. You still need no-follows, as I would bet my house that these are worked into the algorithm in some way. If the algorithm is designed to favour natural link building, then a page with lots of do-follow links and zero no-follow links does not look natural. So no-follow backlinks have a role to play in your seo strategy.
