I'm looking at the Clickbump SEO plugin for Wordpress. I can see the advantages over SEOpressor which I am also considering, but wondering how Clickbump compares to Scribe SEO from Copyblogger.

Also, on the sales page for Clickbump it says six months of free upgrades, what do upgrades cost after that?

anybody using ClickBumpSEO! ? What's the current version of this plugin?

Does the current version account for the latest changes in the big G's SERPS algo?

I noticed the developer also has a theme he calls Clickbump. Does the theme incorporate the clickbumpSEO plugin, or do you still need the plugin if you get his theme?

Sorry dude but I've come to believe these SEO plugins are a waste of time. They used to get your content optimized but who know what is optimal now after all these Google updates?

The latest version is 3.7.5, It has been updated with tweaks to account for the latest changes in the SERPS algos. Also of note, keyword density has always been more of a limit check than a "goal" and it continues to be so. Use the SEO tool's keyword density check to validate that you are not in danger of triggering an over-optimized flag.

Actually the theme has been out for a couple years longer than the plugin, but the plugin gets more press due to the fact it works with ANY theme. The core theme does incorporate several core SEO features such as clean fast html5 code markup, judicious use of descriptive markup elements, such as the new search friendly html5 elements, forms, headings, etc.

However, the core difference is that the SEO plugin is devoted to the page content you are editing at the time and giving you an under the hood analysis of that, vs the theme which provides a site-wide structure with which to deploy your content.

    really?

    No value at all?

I do know that one aspect was always off: keyword density. I have never gone as high as 2%, as it did not read well, and I have long though big G would change that.

Other than that, I think they still help, but then I haven't done any testing since the big G changes this year were implemented after the middle of the year

Scott, thank you for the answer. I just purchased ClickBumpSEO plugin.

I am using it on an eCommerce site built in wordpress, and I am using WooCommerce. Woocommerce creates a sort of "custom post type" that are where we put our products. I noticed that clickbumpSEO shows up on the Edit Pages Wordpress interface, and the Edit posts interface.

I used the phrase "custom post type" because on another site I have, I have wishlistMember installed. On that site, under the wislist member dashboard, under settings --> configuration, there is a "custom post types". I have wooCommerce installed on that site as well, and WLmember allows me to apply WLmember control over the wooCommerce "custom post type" of "products". I was hoping ClickbumpSEO had a similar setting.

How do I get it to show up in the WooCommerce products interface (which appears to be based on the Pages interface) ?

Hi Karakoram, it sounds like I may need to login to your site to see if this is possible. If you will, let's move this discussion over to the clickbump support forum and work it there. You can PM me here if you need help accessing that resource.
