Hello all, i am new to SEO here but I had been doing some stuff myself. I have a blog and a website with adsense setup on it. Now the question is, I am getting low RPM for most of the time like $2-$1 RPM, what is wrong with my side? How can I earn more with the blog? what is the optimimal amount of visitors that I should be getting each month in order to get a "good start" for money making with adsense?

my blog is

taoistmasterblog DOT com

and my web is

chiinnature DOT com

I appreciate all you gurus can help!

Keep working on SEO and getting high quality, targeted traffic to your blog. Keep adding original, keyword rich content and creating backlinks. It takes work, but it can really pay off.

    Good luck.

Thanks! I did have unique content there and the problem is I am now kind of having a problem with finding a way to get backlink. There aren't much blogs around or places around fo my topic (Taoism religion), what do you suggest me do to get some good quality backlink?

    • Submit content related to your niche to article directories. Find other blogs and sites that focus on the same topic as your website and offer to write guest posts. Try to connect with people with whom you have common interests and let them know about your site.

I don't think traffic will be the hardest challenge for you. To me, those niches look like they would be difficult to monetize. <-- Not impossible, but definitely difficult.

Are you solving a problem with either niche. The biggest money made online is through providing solutions to people that are looking for a problem to be resolved.

I would focus on a niche that I could promote products through affiliate marketing or supply advertising with relevant advertisements.

A site on "weight loss" is a hell of easier to monetize than a site on Taoism.

You can still make money off those sites. But it will be more difficult to get visitors to convert.
