    Hi,

I'm no WP fan but I'm quite sure if you search just a little bit in its list of plug-ins you'll find one that generates the sitemap for you... That's what I use with Joomla I see no reason why there wouldn't be the same for WP it's quite basic.

    Seb.

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?

You can use GSiteCrawler, its a free tool that will build sitemaps through crawling the site.

Add it to your robots.txt and Google will find it next time it crawls your website.

    Code:
    Sitemap: http://www.your-site.com/sitemap.xml
You can also submit it in your webmasters tools account.

Easiest way is a plugin. Search in 'add new plugin' for XML sitemaps and install it from your plugin page in Wordpress admin.

If you want a more manual approach then I use this sitemap generator and save the file as a .xml file.Create your Google Sitemap Online - XML Sitemaps Generator

You'll then have to upload the file to your domain root (where all your files are) then tell google where it is from webmaster tools.

you can google free sitemap generator. You can generate the xml file easily.

    After saving the file.

Sign up for a google webmaster tools account.

Then index it in there. This will allow Google to crawl your site more easily.

For the rest of the search engines, you can submit your url manually.

If it is a pure WordPress site and you are only interested in standard XML sitemaps, then you have quite a few plugins to choose from. Search for them at http://WordPress.org

First use this plugin Google XML Sitemaps to create a sitemap for your blog once you install it you can type something like this on your browser

    yourblog.com/sitemap.xml

now copy the link and add it to your google webmaster tools but remember don't add the full url because you will have to add the sitemap.xml only.

First, you have to generate your sitemap, search in Google to generate your wordpress sitemap, then upload sitemap in your site's server where your site files are located. After that, open a webmaster ID in Google.Click, add a site, Type your website url. Google will give you a html file to verify that you are the owner of that site. Upload this Google file in our site's server again. After verification of site owner, You can now submit your sitemap for your site (that you've already generated for your site).
