...without a physical address? I've been researching this for a client of mine, I noticed that businesses like "All My Sons moving" (I'm in CT) have hovering dots on google maps without physical locations (pinpoints). When I try to add a new location it's requiring a physical address, but my client only have distribution centers in the town with a phone number, no actual store front.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

PS. I'm new so sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Why don't you put the address of the distribution centre?

Is it possible to hide the location of the physical address? I suppose using the distribution centre would work, but i don't want people showing up because there is no store front, just a place to send trucks out of.

The location doesn't actually have a place to send the post card verification to, it's just a company owned parking lot that the trucks are stored at, and where they are dispatched from if necessary.

      Any ideas?

You can hide the location once you create it in Google Places. There will be a check box that says "Yes, this business serves customers at their locations" and once you check that it will have another box that says "Do not show my business address on my Maps listing". By clicking this it will show on the map but hide the address. However, hiding your address may affect your rankings negatively.
