Hey guys:
So I have a new site that is just indexed, but when I type info:mySite.com I do not get an option to see most recent date of cache. Is this normal? THX.

Is it a template site? I've seen this before with a template affiliate site with all duplicate content with all the other affiliate template sites. I think it means your website is in Google's supplemental index. I could be wrong - never tried hard to figure out what the deal was.

I had been blocking googlebot from accessing the site, and just updated my robots.txt file so hopefully this will help. I have also just varified ownership and submitted a sitemap so we'll see if that works.

lol, the simplest answer wins. Doh! I've actually done that before too and it didn't even dawn on me. Glad it worked out!

First it gets indexed and after some time it goes in the cache... cache is something like a backup memory... Don't expect it to appear in cache when it is indexed wait a few days.

When the spider comes for a second time from your site then the first time becomes cached.

    ...or something like that :p
