SEO Link Vine Question?
- SEO |
I've been using SEO Link Vine as one of the tools in creating back links for my sites as well as several other websites for the past 6 months.
Recently with all the fuss about blog networks getting canned I started to look at my own SERPS as well as some other sites I've been working on and this is what I've found so far.
When downloading the spreadsheet of links from Webmaster Tools, I notice a ton of links created by SEO Link Vine are still listed in the spreadsheet. Going further, I'm randomly checking links to see if they've been de-indexed by Google.
Some sites/links have definitely been de-indexed by Google, even though they still show in Google Webmaster Tools.
Now, I said SOME meaning.....SOME. Actually and quite honestly, very little in comparison to all the sites in the blog network that have NOT been de-indexed......YET.
In comparison, every 20 valid links I count, maybe 1 or 2 have been de-indexed. So as far as I'm concerned, SEO Link Vine is still working, though I'm sure some blogs in the network have definitely been de-indexed. This doesn't mean SEO Link Vine has crashed and burned. I will keep using their service until it does. In the meantime, its a smart thing to try and diversify your link building efforts.
In regards to SERPS, in all of my sites using SEO Link Vine, the SERPS have stayed consistent and I have not seen anything out of the ordinary in terms of rankings getting hit.. If anything, I'm seeing a very steady, slow but steady, growth.
When submitting articles in SEO Link Vine, I'm really only posting a few articles per month per site. And maybe that's why I've had good luck with my sites. I'm sort of leaning towards the opinion that some people might be overdoing these blog networks and building too many blog network links too quickly and on top of it, focusing only on blog network links rather than diversifying the types of back links. I think that maybe those people that are doing it this way will bear most of the brunt from penalization then turn around on point the finger at the blog network provider...
When dealing with these blog networks, or anything that claims increased rankings in a week, or a month, or whatever, you have to be careful. I think one of the top indicators to Google of unnatural link building is moving up the SERPS too quickly. Keep your sites under the radar..
Anyways, feel free to chime in with your opinions or thoughts. Again, this is just information that I've found personally and is no way considered definite or fact. I sincerely hope Brad Callen finds a way to get around this Google issue. I would most definitely use his services if he did.
