Micro-Niche Blogs + Adsense?

I would like to start my own blog(s) and make money with it through adsense. Also, how hard is it to drive traffic to blogger blogs with the blogspot subdomain? I had planned on making a micro-niche blogger blog and posting about 5-10 articles on it and add adsense on it and then start a 2nd micro-niche blogger blog, write 5-10 articles and post them on it, add adsense, and so on until I had about 20-30 micro-niche blogger blogs. I was thinking it should bring in pretty good passive income, but it would get pretty expensive if I had to pay for hosting and domains on 20-30 sites.

To sum it all up, my questions are: Is it possible to make a decent passive income through free blogger blogs and adsense?
Is it better to have 1 micro-niche blog to focus on or to build a bunch of them for residual income?
Is blogger the best site to use for this purpose?

Thanks, your fellow warrior,
Nate

  • with regards to hosting you can buy a reseller hosting account where you pay a flat fee for as much hosting as you want and you can create as many hosting accounts as you want for each domain. so its not that expensive its just the small price of each domain name. Apparently having your own domain name helps you rank better then a free subdomain url and its better if your domain has some keywords in it regarding your niche. 5-10 articles per blog sounds right and you should aim for 800words per article. Some say 500 others say more but from asking around people have more success in ranking well with 800+ word articles. If you find one blog site makes you a good income and has potential you can start expanding it.

You need to do research to find out the best topics to write about that have people searching for them and also content with which will display adsense ads that have good commercial intent. There's a lot more to it than that, this is just a few small points to give you food for thought. It will take a while to get your head around it

  • Why blogger blogs? Don't want to get your own domain and hosting?

I'm just saying... don't reply on blogger to keep your sites active forever, you never know. Especially if you're going to invest a lot of time (which is money) into them.

    • because blogger blogs are free and I don't have money for hosting or a domain right now.

  • If you build an adsense farm you multiply the risk of getting banned by Google by the number of sites you have.

If you work on one authority site building it constantly you divide the risk of getting banned from Adsense significantly.

    • Do you feel using a high quality wordpress theme that is visually stunning, say starting with a basic $40 theme from themeforest.net then heavily customising it and making it even better, and making it rich with video and social plugins will give it more chance of lasting. Most sites I'm startingas micro 5 page sites you see then if they show promise I will build them out to authority sites. It makes sense as link juice is shared from the parent domain and across inner pages (well it is with a well structured wordpress themeforest site).

I like ctr theme for its backend functionality but the sites themes less face it are just plain ugly. And heatmap is hardly better. Its generic and shouts mfa site. Maybe I'm being critical cause im doing this along side my other work which is web development so maybe I have a more critical eye but ctr theme especially is ugly dated looking but 10/10 for functionality and inserting of adsense adverts and placements

  • You can definitely get started on blogger for free. It's a great way to start or even just test out a market.

My main concern would be putting 30 micro niche sites on one adsense account. That might get your adsense account banned.

Also think about how you plan on paying to backlink those 30 sites. If you are backlinking manually it will take a huge amount of time to rank all 30 sites, and if you pay for link it will get very expensive.
  • Yes it is possible to earn a lot of money from adsense by your blogger blog. Just Select a high paying CPC keyword and start micro niche blogging. bring a lot of quality traffic on your sites and see your adsense earning increase tremendously.
  • Building smaller sites to find profitable keywords is a viable strategy. I've done it before, and narrowed down from 50+ mini sites at one point to a large authority site which covers six sort of related topics (think six mini sites joined into one, but much bigger).
