Using social bookmarking and its purposes

Hi all,
Are you using social bookmarking tools such as socialadr and onlywire?
If so, are you using it just for SEO and link building purposes or to send traffic to your website/youtube video as well?
How good is the traffic quality you're getting from social bookmarking?

    social netowrking sites are like blogs, and web 2.0,
    social bookmarking leave small posts with anchor text in the title and a short description in the link
    they are both great to adding links to your site.
    You should deffo use social bookmarking as its a fast way to get links to your site, also provide good indexing for links. as far as traffic goes some sites will get lots of traffic so you canget a trickle of it from bookmarking sites, but main reason would be for seo.
    social netowrking is based on articles which you can embed links also great.

    use both!

    ps. we do a lot of social bookmarking as part of our packages and really not much traffic comes directly from the sites (but this depends on the type of site you are promoting) there are only a few sites that will get your some traffic such as digg and reddit.

      Thanks! So the twitter and chime-in are both social bookmarking sites then. And blogs are the social networking stuff.

      I did use both and they are pretty useful too. Now I am only waiting for the aug google big day and see my Pr results.. haha.. hope it will help!

    Rarely use those auto submitting tools now, because both those social bookmarking websites and Google now really don't like those auto submitting stuff. The content's quality has become more important.
