Kewords vanished from Google all of a sudden

Hello,
After penguin update it seems nothing is working like previous days. I have been doing SEO from last one year. I have ranked several keywords on the first page of Google. Two keywords "seo service provider" and "manual forum posting" are on the 18 page and 3rd page respectively in Google but now these keywords are vanished like ash from Google SERP. I have created some quality back links for these two keywords (with my username as well as exact keyword) hoping that they will come up on the first page of Google but now I can't find these keywords. I know it's not Google dance because "SEO service provider" was not on top 20 pages like 15 days.
I have done everything manually and I am sure that I didn't place these keywords contained page link on bad neighborhood or spam sites. But still can't figuring out why they are vanished from Google. Anyone facing same issue?
