Really low CTR on entertainment website

Hi,
So, my problem is that my Adsense CTR is really, really low and I don't know why. I am using animated image, image, rich media ads(so as 9gag or any other entertainment site that I've seen so far) and my CTR is under 0.25%. I got click bombed too, so It's even less... I tried both the left and the right sides, same results. The overall ad request is around 16000. Should I run only text ads?
Now I'm using link units too, It gets better results. Unfortunately, there are a lot of unmatched ad requests(don't really know what is this in link units). It's around 0,50% now from 1500 ad requests(1423 unmatched...).
