Too long too see results from Penguin hit

Hello,
Dont wanna be insistent on this but I really need to know,
Because when we try hard to resolve something and no results show up its
quite frustating.
Cleaning penguin bad links situation:
I already removed my site from two sites whcih my site received 190 "bad"links and 80 from another one ( from this last one the number is raising according to WMT but no sign at all of my site on the "bad site")
BUT the results on visits I receive, I saw a slightly improve (almost nothing)
On WMT - "number of impressions" also a slightly improve and the same with number of clicks
QUESTION: This slightly almost nothing improve is because those more than 300 with sure bad links I removed ? OR results are still to come Both in visitations and numbers in WMT ?
