How To By-Pass Google Sandbox

Hi,

I have a couple of websites that got sandboxed, I guess. I figured out that when I create a website and dedicate 3-4 weeks to make and publish content on a regular base, my website is likely to by-pass the Google Sandbox.

And get well-indexed and well-placed in the search engines.

However, some of my websites who I made 10 - 12 blogposts for which I published day-after-day and then stopped content publishing. Those websites are getting ZERO visitors.

Some of them I build very, very quality one-way-links to from related websites and even related articles.

It's not about 8 months later and still 3 of them are getting ZERO visitors and can't be found in the top 1000 of the targeted keywords.

It's a waste of time and money that I invested in those websites; writing content, building links.

So I want to make a fresh start with the content and precious links I build to those website.

What is the best I can do? I need your help here...

Buy a new domain; and do 301 redirect? Is this an option?
Buy an aged domain name and do a 301 redirect? Will this work?
Other suggestions

I've been doing this a while ..and have never experienced this "Sandbox" people keep talking about. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist. There's penalties and filters, though.

You are most definitely doing something wrong and it can't be diagnosed without looking at your site.

  You can't have it both ways.
  
  Now suppose, just suppose, their are 10 of you, just
  starting, working dang hard. And poof, one day all of
  you take the top 10 spots. (How many millions of
  webmasters are there working each day and night).
  
  Now, those 10 sites' webmasters seem to always come
  here and ask, "Why am I in the sandbox?"
  
  So, they may take the initiative and work hard. Let's
  say 5 get back on top. Now those newer webmasters
  come here and complain about the sandbox.
  
  The only real penalty from google, is a de-index.
  
  Google liking sites more than yours, is not a sandbox.
  It's a reevaluating SERPs. Happens every second.

Still.

I am working in The Netherlands. It's not as competitive as it is here. In the niches I am working on there are a handful of webmasters trying to rank.

You can't tell me that someone who worked hard like me will be not found in the first 1000 spots.

It's a filter, a sandbox, or something else. But it is something that keeps me from climbing up, because I put a lot of effort in link building and content creation.

So, even so. I didn't ask whether the sandbox exist or not.

Fact is: I am not ranking after I put a lot of effort in it.

As a consequence, the content I created and the links I built are useless for this website.

What's the next step to take? That's my question!

Maybe you put too much 'effort' into link building.

Look at your analytics. Did the drops in the traffic coincide with a known Panda or Penguin update or data refresh ? Do you have WMT, any messages there ?

Hi Retsek,

Thanks for your input. I never received traffic to these domains. Maybe, one or two in a week. Probably lost. Or something.

So, I think it's a sandbox, filter, penalty (however when I search my website in Google, it shows up).

If that last one sounds like a stupid question, or a stupid thing to say...I say it for a reason.

I had a site ranking for a iPad keyword and never got any visitors. It was a small term so I figured I just wasn't getting any clicks.

Because I wasn't paying much attention to the site I kind of forgot about it. Then one day I was like "what the hell dude" so I started looking at things, and figured that I screwed up my analytics code somehow.

I had been getting iPad seeking visitors the whole time..

Just sayin...check EVERYTHING!

If you are searching for your site in Google and it comes up, you are definitely not sandboxed. It may be a Google penalty if you are not ranking for any of your keywords, especially for the name of your website or blog.

What I would do is examine the on page and off page SEO. Make sure you are not over optimizing your keywords on your pages or posts, and build links with a variety of related keywords. For example:

learn more about <a href="http://your-website.com/blue-widgets">new blue widgets</a>
<a href="http://your-website.com/">click here</a> for more information on blue widgets
discover more information at <a href="http://your-website.com/">http://your-website.com</a>

You want to have variety in your link building techniques. I got hit by Google's latest algorithm changes too, and I have found that these tips are working for me.

Hi,

Nice information. I am applying these techniques to my websites, but..

What should I do know? I tried everything and I don't get any visitors to these website, because they are not ranked on keywords that are not competitive.

It's 8 months later.

New website and 301 redirect? Or something else?
Because I don't want to lose these links and content I put a lot of effort in it.

Anyone suggestions?

I would first look at the niche before you blame your site. Some niche are very competitive and Google might put you in the sandbox due to the amount of competition.

Check your niche first before changing how you play the SEO game.
