Hey, for my Wordpress blog, when I make a post it asks what keywords I want to use. How many characters does Google care about when I enter in these keywords? Or does it not matter?

Thanks!

It doesn't matter much. But stuffing of too much keywords is a subject to Google penalties.
Just make sure you enter 4-6 relevant keywords.
    I hope this was helpful

Thanks for the quick reply! So does that mean google wants 4-6 keywords total or 4-6 relevant keywords with no junk keywords (stuff that doesn't apply to article)?

You mean tthe "tags" in wordpress right? Here is the question, wordpress tags are the same as "keywords", or no? um... I saw people have tons of tags on the post and still be fine though.

it is not a matter. But use the character length between 63and 65. it is better than long title keywords.

Keywords does not matter in ranking anymore. But you can use them.

Depends a little on what "it" is.

If it's a plugin like all-in-one-seo, then meta keywords are ignored by Google and given very little importance by other search engines.

Yes, I am using All-in-One SEO for Wordpress. There is a box that says "Keywords". Are you saying that this doesn't matter anymore?

For keywords... there is no character limit. Your keyword can be short tail and long tail as well.

I thought the word on the street was that meta keywords are useless these days. Am I wrong?
