QUICK Question!

Do the companies that sell products using affiliates fake sells at the beggining, when one starts promoting their products? I had a few sells and it has gradually gone down even though I'm having more traffic and clicks? What are the chances of that being the case?

thanks!

    I actually thought this myself.

I normally don't promote clickbank products, but I have an authority site doing well in Google. I put up a newly released product for 1 week, got no sales after sending about 100 people over so I just decided to go back to adsense. 3 days later, in Clickbank, it shows one sale of the product.

I was saying to myself "God bless you, cookie." But after that, I put the product back up for a month and not 1 sale after sending hundreds of people over.
    Got me thinking exactly that.

    • Yes I do have similar feeling about Clickbank which did not work well for me, I then converted my traffic to amazon, it really works well comparatively to Clickbank.

I would suggest you to go for Amazon or Adsense.

  • What did you find out?
  • Well on the other hand if anyone decides to test if sales work these companies would get busted no?
  • I've thought this exact same thing, but I agree with eduguate, this would get caught. If someone tried testing their sales and it didn't register, there would be hell to pay at the hands of thousands of affiliates

    • Then again.... who would risk "testing" their sales?
