What Happened To My Ranking?...

Hi again guys,

I have an Amazon review site and I review various new products in different niches.

What I've been noticing is that some of my posts will get ranked for the proper keyword right off the bat (witin the first 4 days of posting) and then will just disappear off the search engine pages.

I notice this in my amazon affiliate account stats because I'll make a few sales all at once and then it will drop off.

What is the reason for this? Is it doing this because of the "google dance"?

ps. my site hasnt been sandboxed, I checked

Thanks guys

J

Its google dance. But don't try to make massive links fast. And make few quality links in authority sites.

    Yes, it's the Google dance.

Keep everything natural: your linkbuilding, your content dripping, etc. That's the key in SEO.

      Hi,

Did you use any unethical seo? . Please keep update with Google penguin & Google panda update. If you do over optimization to get the results than Google can panalize your website.

Nope, aside from 1 twitter link, 1 facebook, 1 digg and one stumble... nuthin..

        Yes, it's the Google dance.
Yes, that's what I feel too, I'm just gonna keep at it like you guys said and not let it get to me.

Thanks you guys, I feel better already.

Do you have any recommendations for how and how far apart to backlink with my posts?

        ex.

day of post - facebook and twitter auto post

        day 2 digg

        day 3 stumble

        etc?

        Thanks!

  • I think Google is pushing webmasters to use PPC so they are making lot of changes to the algorithm, this ranking drop might be due to Google Panda and Penguin update.

Your website has become victim of Google dance. To overcome from this process update your content on a regular basis and try to get quality links from authority websites. Your website will be back in ranking within a couple of weeks.
