You need to give an appropriate and valuable answer while posting an answer so that you post does not get deleted. Secondly a lot of misuse have been done in the past so I think now Forum links doesnt have any value, but Sure that It can bring traffic to your website if you are in the right forum discussion.

As long as the forums are relevant to your specialization and the posts hold value then you should derive good value not just in ranking but also by traffic to your blogs.

There is no such thing as a PR4 forum profile link. The forum may be PR4. But the profile link is going to be PR N/A unless you throw some high quality backlinks at it. But even then, there's no point in wasting your time trying to boost the strength of profile backlinks. (Which are essentially useless unless you're doing them in MASSIVE quantities. And they're still pretty useless then.)

Don't look at forums as a way to build backlinks. They're pretty weak in that regard. Instead, look at forums as a way to drive VERY targeted traffic from your sig. And as a way to build relationships with people interested in your niche.

From relevant niche forums you will get traffic which are interested about photography. If they find your website useful, defiantly they will love it and share your site over the internet and you will get natural backlinks. So forums signatures are not value less. And through odfollow signature links you will get link juice.

I don't think so cause I get one backlink for profile link. This will occur if the forum is warrior forum or any other do-follow forum.

Guys,
Thanks for your valuable reply. I am doing this as a continuous process. I will make 40 forum profiles related to my keyword. then I will hire 1 person who will post in those forum occasionally. not too much because I don't want to be banned form the forums.
Profile link building is to my target. my target is to get a signature in each forum's sub section from where I will get traffic and also a great High PR Back link. As my profile link bears no value and it of course is a PR n/a. but the posts where I will be posting will get a good PR within a week or month.
What do you think? Is it a good idea?
I will create 40 forum links every month.
Don't think that I am just doing that.
I submit 1 article per month in the high PR article directories. Make several blog comments, update my images in Flickers and other photo sharing sites. I have already linked it with several web 2.0 in Wordpress and Blogger, tumblr.
I have made a Face book twitter and linkedin page. As I have said I do them manually so its taking time,. but what do you think? Is it a good way? Am i in the right direction?

weak backlinks doesn't lasts long. But if I generate backlinks (makes posts regularly) using that profile I guess then profile link will be strengthen enough, isn't it?

Not really, unfortunately. The only way to strengthen a backlink is to send backlinks to THAT link. (Just as you would to your main site.)

If you are trying to rank a website using forum profiles, i hate to break it to you but you are about 9 months too late. Don't waste your time or money no matter what someone tries to tell you. I know they are cheap to build and tempting but "high PR" forum profiles are about the crappiest links you can get. My company doesn't use them and I urge you not to either.

traffic in it?? shit .. nothing ...

I have a blog with PR 2, traffic in it?? 7200 + unique pageviews ....

I know a blog with pr 4, traffic? shit ..

If you are able to do post quality answers which are really useful to the forum visitors and other members that will obviously give more referral traffic from your signature. On the other hand, when it comes to SEO, links from your theme forum helps but if you can add good content (thread/replies) you can expect more value to your backlink.

I guess. But there's also a big difference between a weak link that takes a few minutes to create vs a strong link that takes a few minutes to create. I can leave a comment on a PR1+ blog post in the same amount of time it takes to create a PR N/A profile.

There are different opinions of different peoples about the do follow forum links.
According to my point of view there are lot of benefit of do follow forum links in the seo process.You can get better ranking in search engines by forums posting but if you are posting regularly.
I have gained amazing benefits by forums links both no follow and do follow.
