Is using this Social Bookmarking WSO a good or bad idea?

Hi guys,

Has anyone used this service? or is it even advisable, e.g are there any risks of being Google slapped?

SOCIAL BOOKMARKING SERVICE AT A WHOLE NEW LEVEL! 2$=300, 3$=600 Bookmarks

It seems like a time saver, but the risk of being slapped by Google is too high to take lightly.

    Anyways, I have a fiverr gig similar to that and I have customers that are repeatedly coming back for these kinds of links. I see no problem with it. Some use it at their new site some use it for their backlinks like web2.0 or forum profiles or wiki links.

    You take risks when using any link building service. And you don't give enough info to know if this service would harm your site (has to do more with your site than the service). If you don't know too much about SEO yet I'd reccomend pointing these services at a YouTube video or article somewhere else that links to your main site.

    Dan is right. Actually, if even if you do know SEO, taking this kind of service is not a good idea if you will point them to your main site.

    I've met a guy who is offering the same service but it's quite expensive compare to that. 1000 social bookmark links for $235.

    Good thing about his service is that he will check the links 7 days after the turnover to see if there are links that have been removed. If he sees that, he will replace the removed/dead links immediately.

    Just giving you another option.

      I hope you are getting 10% affiliate commission to promote that service ... dang, that is ridiculous. Social Bookmarks are not quality links, you should only really use them to:
      1) Get your site or page indexed.
      2) Diversify your anchor text.

      I would never pay that much for social bookmarks ... holy crap, that's a ripoff.

        Actually, I am not promoting his service or whatsoever. I also did not purchase it.

        Like you've said, it's far way to expensive compare to other bookmarking services out there. I did not know this guy, I am not going to get any commission on this.

        like I said just giving the guy another option.

    There's no such thing as cheap quality SEO. You'd be better off trying to build some better links yourself.

    Anything so cheap for so much quantity probably isnt a good thing especially if its straight to your money site, sure it may be good for a 2nd tier link but 300 for $2 its just being automated.

    bookmarking is getting cheaper by the day. If you try to rank on keywords, you need to go for the quantity (ie, the amount of backlink).

      This is possibly the worst advice I've seen given in only two sentences. You should NEVER buy a backlink service based on "how many links are created." Ie. Wikipedia pages can outrank a trash MFA site with ZERO external backlinks. I don't care how many times you order a fiverr gig that blasts 10,000 forum profiles at your home page, your weak a$$ SEO is not going to get you anywhere.

      Sorry to sound blunt, but misinformation is dangerous in a marketing forum.

    Sometimes it is better to use yourdomain.wordpress.com as a ginny pig for these kind of services to see what they are and how spammy they are.

    Besides, it is important to build backlinks to your quality 2nd tier websites, too.

      Btw, we have drip feed feature, if building large number of links in a single day is not your strategy.

      Yes, that is among the things we had in mind when we started this service. Allowing people to bookmark not only their site but their 2nd tiers too since we allow using multiple URLs per order.

      Everyone has their own opinion on link building and we respect that. We are just giving cheaper options.
